Southern Area Hospice #wecare
On Friday 24 March, a group of Year 13 girls kindly volunteered to help Southern Area Hospice with their annual street collection in Keady.
“I am delighted to let you know that we raised a total of £957.35 and 59.72E on the day, a fantastic total which would not have been possible without the support of the volunteers who so kindly gave up their time to help us.
All the money raised will help Southern Area Hospice Services to continue their work in the local area caring for people who are living with Cancer and other life-limiting illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease.
The Southern Area Hospice Services Fundraising Department has to raise £2.5 million in 2017 alone to maintain the level of care currently available. This equates to £6, 849 every single day and so we rely heavily on the generosity of local people to help us to reach our target.
Thank you again for everything you and the pupils of St Patrick’s High School did to assist us and for your ongoing support of our work.
We can only care because you do.
