Sinead Bowls them over at Sports Awards!
Sinead Kiernan collected the Junior Female of the Year award at the recent Armagh Sports Forum Awards. She has had a very successful season in Road Bowls picking up the U16 and U 18 titles at local, Ulster and All Ireland level. She made history as the first underage bowler to win both awards in the same year.
Sinead also is a talented camogie player, putting in great performances for her club, school and county and was a key player on the county Under 16 side that reached the All Ireland final.
Other pupils who had the honour of being nominated on the night for their sporting achievements included Orlagh Mone from the Keady Karate Club who recently a Black Dan Belt, the youngest member of the club to do so.
Connor Renaghan is following in his father Marty's footsteps and claimed an All Ireland title as well as success at provincial level. The members of the Keady and District Angling Club were also recognised winning the Junior Team of the Year for their achievements over the past season.
